Looks someone liek a Vulture mech, only thing that looks off is the arm studs and how bare the back is where the bit was added ontop, woulda used Greenstuff to round off the arm ports and fill that in a lil

meh supposedly by not having arms they can have more armour making say a 3+ into a 4+ to wound n all that but not allowing it to fight in close combat[can be attacked but cant attack back]

I honestly dont know myself, seen a few people using it in a actuall GamesWorkshop store though and the game staff said it was fine O.o unless it's something being added to the new Codex or something

best I've seen was a dude who used 4 of them, a necron pyramid and some of the really big models you have to order from the catalogue's to make a ruddy massive Chaos Temple Tank x.x

No, they just look...wrong. The whole thing about being able to see the pilot's head, I hate it, just doesn't look right.

I don't put in the pilots head anyways...looks kinda sucky to me too XD...

Well...technically I don't think a walking corpse container can see anything anyway, but if you see that little imperial eagle atop the sargophagus, below it is the three Goggle eyes for the so called "pilot" XD

Arm conversion???

Two close combat arms, both with an integrated assault cannon...I found out that the center circle of the dreadnaught powerfist is exactly as wide as the Terminator assault cannons.
Since I have on eto spare I figured I'd put it to some use

lookin good man! although i never really liked the background behind the dread (and the dragoon from starcraft). we'll just toss a dieing here into a big machine and let him fight on, gallant but unrealistic.
the eldar wraithlord (the soul trapped within the machine) and my witch hunter penitent engine (person is wired into the machine) seem more beleaveable.
even so, a good volley of bolters into that wonderfull rear armour wins the day (and if all else fails hit it with the exorsist missles!)

haha, but rest assured...by th VCR this little friend will have plus 1 armor point on front and back, making it invulnerable to piny little bolter rounds...

I on the other hand can't agree with the idea of having a spirit, which is captured, controling a machine. In my opinion you need something physical to steer something physical.
Exceptions are to be made with chaos forces...however, the penitent is a different issue, which I also can't agree on since it's not the persons wish to fight inside...

actually, if i remeber it correctly they are heritics that seek repention.

then again, an engine vs a dread would be interesting. i would probably loose because engines are anti infantry (flamers)

i got s10 too and i got d6 attacks, means i could get 6 attacks compaired to your 3... or i could get 1 attack, you never know...

d6 compusary movement towards nearest enemy then another 6". i beleive (but am not 100%) that i get this even if imoblized.

still, dreads have better weapons, armour and don't count as open topped.

i forgot to mention that you are required to have a battle prient in your army to have engines, flagulants and sisters repentia in your army.

so thats another 50pts without any upgrades...
