Clothing Style: Likes anything light/pastel with minimal or consistent pattern (Polka dots or tiny flowers are a personal favorite pattern). Likes flowy, loose fitting clothes (loose tank tops, band tee's, dresses) and winter clothes (sweaters, cardigans, scarves, kigus, flannels, oversized t-shirts). She hardly ever wears pants unless out in public, when she is wearing pants they're most any color of skinny jean or short.
Likes: rain storms, sweaters, tea, Japan, cherry blossoms, hot tubs, sushi, crunching leaves, dancing, fuzzy socks, netflix, falling asleep with her mate, massages, cuddling, and anything winter/Christmas or Spring/Easter related.

Personality: Tohru is an extreme extrovert and hates to be alone for more than a few hours and if she can help it. She is always out having adventures or at least talking to someone. She loves going out into nature with friends but is prominently a couch potato and will never say no to netflix and cuddling. She is very naive and doesn't understand sarcasm which often leads to her getting her feelings hurt when her friends are joking around. Ru is also very touchy and comfortable, she doesn't mind hugging strangers or not wearing pants in front of the mailman. Between her naiveness, her outrageous optimism and lack of boundaries, Tohru is most always a giggling ball of sunshine who loves everyone and never sees bad in people, however, this sometimes leads to her trusting bad people and getting into trouble.

Ru loves all things. But mostly going on walks and playing fetch! Tohru is also very flirtatious, however, when she falls in love, she loves hard and true. She’s a total goodie-two-shoes and is very naive towards the bad in the world. When these things are brought to light to her, she feels compelled to change them, even when she knows she can’t. Despite Ru being a constant ray of sunshine, when sadness hits her, it hits hard. Depending on the cause, sadness (never depressions) can last multiple days, but she very easily bounces back from most things. She is sympathetic, empathetic, caring, generous, and understanding and will always be there for anyone who needs it, even if she doesn’t know them very well.
In general, Tohru is always happy and laughing, and loves most everything and everyone.

- The stripes on her ears are there to remind her that not everything she hears is good but she tries to keep her ears open for good news and happy sounds.
- The stripes on her cheeks represent the worrier insider her who is always ready to fight for what she believes in or defend her friends and loved ones.
- The white on ONLY HER BOTTOM LIP represents using her mouth carefully. Tohru always tries to watch what she says and speak kindly. If there's nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all! :D
- The two bands on her upper arms are to represent her participating in purple-ribbon causes such as animal abuse awareness, suicide awareness.
THESE STRIPES ARE ON THE UPPER BICEPT NOT THE ELBOW.
- The stripes down her torso and thighs, up around to her butt represent the self respect and self confidence Tohru is trying to have in this area of her irl body. She loves her chest and face and finds those to be her only good features so the purple stripe is a reminder to be kind to those less-loved parts of her body and to remember that all of her is beautiful
- CURVED brown socks represent the change her body has gone through and the ups and downs of life.
- Asymmetrical white on paws reminds her that no one is perfect and you don't have to pretend you are. Imperfection is perfection <3
- White fingers remind her to be gentle and treat everything she touches with respect and care.
- And finally the most important feature - The 5 arrows on her back represent the 5 years where Tohru was dealing with a lot of sadness and anxiety. Money was low, her self esteem was shot and school was hard as she was ruthlessly bullied on a day-to-day basis. The stripes point upwards to always remind her to keep her head high and know that no matter what life throws at her, things will get better.
