Now in a sniper variant for those that like to splatter enemy brains on walls or pop heads like their water balloons.
I used the same body like i said before just altered a handfull of things:
1) switched the barrels around
2) cut out the pump and replaced it with bi-pod
3) shortened the back mag so it'd hold less and not be in the way when trying to swivel.
4) Turned the front mag into a drum mag despite me saying several images earlier that I won't be doing anymore... why do I lie to myself?
5) touched up a few things due to moving stuff around and cutting out other parts.
So yah, sniper rifle + assualt rifle you can be a sniper or sniper support... or some of both. Not sure if this is the right thing to do but the sniper halves ammunition is the 338 Lapau (i think that's right.) And the assault rifle half is a 6.8mm Remington SPC round.
Pro's & Con's
Pro's:
The sniper mag holds about 6 or 7 rounds plus one in the chamber, the assault rifle's drum mag holds bout 20 plus one already chambered.
Its a distanced weapon so you can strike before the enemy has a chance to.
Con's:
It is H-E-A-V-Y, totting it around will be a work out.
There sniper halves mag only holds about 7 or 8 rounds total (this is adding the chambered round into the already 6 or 7 ) so you'd have to carry spare mags for it.
On the same note the assault rifles half it has a decent ammo capacity, but were you to run through the mag you'd need to have a spare. Having to carry 2 or 3 plus 20 to 25 round mags plus the 2 or 3 8 round sniper mags would add greatly to the already weighed down soldier.

Despite the con's I still believe a gun of this type would be of much use depending on the training, the only thing I see that would be a problem would be the manufacturing of the gun. It'd likely cost too much for this one or the Assault/shotgun version. -sigh- Reality is a bit harsh but still this would make a excellent weapon IF it existed and IF it was ever manufactured.
Part of me thinks this would make an excellent airsoft rifle...

The answer is an underslung shotgun.

I believe your sniper rifle could have an underslung SMG or reduced assault rifle, this would make it less complicated to manufacture, adaptable and easier to handle. :3

I like the design and concept. Very solid look. And, if you will consider this, a heavy gun means less recoil. When shooting assault rifle ammo, it probably wouldn't kick at all, while the .338 LAPUA (U before the A) will experience greatly reduced recoil. So, I like it.
The only con I ever saw with the semi-auto rifles, with the exception of reduced accuracy, is the incapability of putting in that one quick round directly into the chamber when needed. Instead the whole clip has to be changed out. But that's just me. lol

Remember, my friend, there is a difference between flawed thinking and personal preference. I like bolt actions for reliability, accuracy, simplicity, and the added options mentioned before. However, it is clearly slower and will commonly ruin one's sight picture while cycling the bolt. Therefore, some prefer the semi-autos. It is all a matter of choice.
Now, if I may make a suggestion, you may want to look into the 6.8mm Remington SPC round for your assault rifles. Great punch and accuracy with only a bit more recoil than the 5.56 but significantly less than the 7.62. Just a suggestion.

5.7 x 28 my freind, smaller, faster, longer. Same one used by the FN P90, great soft armor defeater. 9mm is stopped by most soft armor. Or you could go with the .45 cal ACP, a fat and slow round that knocks you on your ass.

Actually~
You 'could' make one but it'd take two already existing weapons combine them into a single 'body' but from there you'd have to work out how each would fire. They made real working replica's of the Fully Automatic Morita in Starship troopers. It was a Mini 14 and a Ithaca pump shotgun.
