One of the many friends I've met during my time on Zootopia Discord servers is a delightful fellow named Shawn. He also goes by Dark King and was once a mod at the now defunct City of Zootopia Discord server. He and I were casual acquaintances and we got along well enough. It is no secret that he has autism, a fact that he ensures everyone knows shortly after meeting him. Since I, myself, have an autistic son, I understood full well the behaviors and mannerisms to watch out for and when they did happen, where they'd push other people away, I drew close because I could understand his frustration with relating to others. Well, it was during his birthday recently where he'd be more or less alone due to a variety of factors and I felt we needed to do something special for him. So we suddenly plopped him into a huge group chat with a ton of other friends of his and presented him with birthday art of which this piece was mine that I bought and gifted to him. Happy Birthday again, Shawn! You are a swell guy!
