Hunka Hunka Death Dealing Machine (Assault Rifle/SMG)
Meh, hopefully last design I do that has to be titled 'Hunka Hunka' anything. Its too much to type >.>
Aaaaanyhow the Assault Rifle/SMG (ARSMG) is just a shorter version of the other combo guns but minus the scope, its shorter, has a laser sight, and is packing a Assault Rifle portion and a SMG portion.
The Assault rifle half fires 6.8mm Remington SPC round
The SMG half fires 5.7x28mm
Unlike the other variants the ARSMG is best suited for Close Quarters Combat (CQC) but the Assualt rifle half can be used at medium range as well. I may have to resubmit a altered version of this where the 'gap' between the front mag and the laser sight aren't some omnious valley but a straight section. If/when i make that alteration a M203 'COULD' be attached making it twice as formidable. Or the ARSMG stay as it is and a modified M203 could be attached. -shrugs-
Not alot i can really say, all these redesigns and variants have me burnt out. I need some time to re-gather my self and try and work on something new. A friend asked me if i could draw him some weapons, dunno if he was serious or being playful, but I may take him up on that offer depending on other things beyond my control. aka 'parents.'

Something revolutionary that over exaggerates itself as a sloution to a problem. Like the ANM2 .30 cal Machine Gun in WWII. Don't know about it?
It was a .30 cal MG yes, but it wasn't intended for ground use. It was the Gun on the back of our torpedo planes, the AVENGER, that defended them against Enemy planes that try to attack from the back. But this differed from many intermediate calibre MGs of the time. It fired at a rate of 1300+ Rounds per minute to ensure a hit. Modern MGs fire around 600-1000 RPM.
Well, a US Marine on one of those shitty pacific islands took one off a downed AVENGER, tinkered with it, gave it a M1 GARANDS' stock, the Sights and Bipod from a BAR, and a primitiv, highly lethal, fast firing Squad Automatic Weopon was created. It MURDERED everyone, like a buzzsaw. 6 bursts consumed a 100 round belt.
IN OTHEWORDS, something big that eats ammo like a fat boy and cake.

Gotcha. But i'd have to realllllly think about what I'd have to do to even begin to rival that. XD
Plus i think i recall hearing about that gun it was one of the History channel's 'WW2' marathon shows they do. From what you said and what i recall them saying about what consisted of the weapon one of the soldiers was using it sounds like the same exact gun.
The only thing that comes to mine when eating through ammunition is a mini-gun or some other large machine gun. I'll have to think about it, not really up to drawing anything for the rest of the day, maybe tomorrow.

It was on "Shoot Out: Iwo Jima" first time I heard of it. (Probably one of my top 5 fav arms) But they called it by its nickname, the Stinger. But its an ANM2 heavily modified. Yes, its the same gun.
I didnt say you'd have to rush, I myslef have been putting off a lot of stuff. What I thought of:

with its own custom rounds, a 5.56 x 99mm, same as 5.56 x45, but obviously a bit longer, for added punch. and IDK, what ever you want, custom sights, front grip perhaps? Skelton Like Stock? Longer Heavier Barrel? Tripod? Different FDeed Mechanism? Imagination............

I was just going to alter the SMG pictured on this page, remove the back clip, give it a HUGE belt fed mag. My imagination is slightly burnt up, so I may just make a SUPER heavy Machine gun. You can alter rate of fire right? -looking for liable excuse for 'why/how' it can spit a handful of bullets in no time flat-
