The only thing I have againt the newer games is this:

I understand that the chaos emeralds are powerful and important, and obtaining them is generally done through the story. Fair enough, but what I'm TIRED of is the fact that when you earn super sonic (or ANY super character for that matter) you should be allowed to go back to the earlier levels and do the old 50 rings and transform trick!

I'm rather tired of super (whoever) being stuck in the LAST battle of the LAST chapter.

And heck... we haven't seen super knuckles in ages...
