Well I didn't have anything else up today but I thought what the heck I'd grab a piece of art I had laying around and pick up some of my colored pencils again and color it traditionally. So boys and girls meet this for the moment nameless Avin. His species evolves on earth after the fall of humanity. They're intelligent and swift and cunning. The Avins live up to their long ancestry tracing back to the dinosaur. They're civilization has reached our modern level but being a diffrent species things don't look quite like they used to. For one Avin clothing is sparse and primarily ornamental as their feathers insulate them well. On a warm day a Avin may go out in a simple waist cloth such as this one. The species has a flare for art and music being able to see a wider range of colors then humans and have very musical and tonal voices. The Avins are reaching out for the stars now and beginning to probe the stars for signals much as we are. Little do they know they're first contact with another sentient race will be the decedents of the humans whose place they took in the tree of life.
