When I uploaded the quick summary of motives for my Clan Leaders to ascend, Mel's original entry was just "who knows, Melsir is awful." But then I thought, well, she is awful, as well as leader of a hate clan, why not make her ascension something noble?

Like Elsis, Melsir never actually intended to ascend. Unlike Elsis, Melsir also never grew accustomed to it, so the reason she'd dump her clan on their rears every few generations was from being overwhelmed.
