Oh wow, you're a shaman as well? I 'consider' myself one, though only by belief and practice. I don't have any of the neat tools you've laid out here A very empowering assortment indeed~

Thank you This collection has built up over the years. I decorated the altar myself around 9 years ago, the purple goddess statue was a gift I got for my late wife, she gave me the horned god statue amd sickle-knife as gifts.

Beautiful altar. Sadly, I didn't get to celebrate the solstice in "proper" fashion due to spending it with my somewhat atheist family for Father's Day.

that's one of the things I find attractive about being pagan, there is no 'proper' way of doing things, it's about your own relationship with the divine, if on the solstice you took but a moment to think "Oh, hey, it's the summer solstice", then to me at least that is as valid a way of celebrating as any other.

I meant proper for me. :) Sorry, I should have been clearer. For me, I generally have a short ritual simply to honor the fact that the solstice is today, then I bake some yummy yummy food.

You've got a lovely alter! I still need to work on getting one.
