A still life using a blank piece of paper surrounded by multiple tools for artwork. It is more or less supposed to acknowledge the emptiness in what could be on the paper while distracting the eye with the many visible options of what to use and start from. Making it seem confusing or even intimidating on how to start or what would even be placed on the blank piece of paper (although that’s going a bit deep into the representative aspects of the picture).
Bolder lighting was added along with more contrast and a stable position in order to capture the picture without making the image blurry, grainy or have the tools such as the markers out of focus. Along with keeping a dynamic and interesting angle on the picture.
This also represents a bit of art block that has arisen lately.


A little late, but going to try and get back on my upload schedule. Lots of photographs lying around to possibly upload and by then I should hopefully be drawing more! Hopefully! Need to work on that productivity. Thought this one had a bit more interesting angling than some of my other pictures
