So the thing is i've been trying to make my own vaping wire from regular round wire. I 've been watching coil build channels, mostly SquidDoode's channel ( The Art of Vaping ) and i always wanted to gave it a try so i bought myself a drill and a vice.

But the thing is i don't have fishing swivel yet to lock my wire down tight which helps a shit ton when building a wire. So what do i do? I tried building it with just my hands.

And this is the result. Only about 2nd, and 4~5th wrap is pristine and others are basically crap because of my bad eyesight not picking up the micro-fuckups.

But if you still wonder what this abomination is, i tried making regular fused clapton with 2 x 28 AWG Ni80 Core, and 36 AWG Ni80 Clapton Wrap.

30 AWG was annoyingly thin enough but when i actualy finished wrapping the coil was thick as fuck and there was no point of actually making a clapton....

But one thing i learned in the middle is how to actually grab wire tight in my hand to make the wrap more tight and evenly spaced while keeping the core wire supported with my index finger.
( which actually came as a result of those pristine wraps, which i am just a tiny tiny bit proud of )

I imitated SquidDoode's technique and put my own twist to it. Using one more finger to wrap the wire around the fingers to keep very tight tension
( Tight tension means better wraps )


But to be bloody honest, it's been less than a week i started building coils, So i think i'll need to go through a shit ton of more time and wasted wire to actually get a skill to build a proper wire. I guess. Heck, When i first started vaping i was so bad i can't even wrap a proper coil with all pre-built wire.
