I saved this little guy from under my back porch. He's one of the third or fourth generation kittens of the "Toupé" family of cats that have been livng in my back yard for the last couple of years... (Named thusly because the females are always white with a single V shaped patch of grey fur on their forehead)
There were three kittens....but two are gone....and the mother hasn't been seen in a week...and Bob has been constantly mewing....so I'm assuming he's been abandoned. I was hoping the mother would come back....but...it's been a while...and I just couldn't leave him out there any longer.
So, after a bath and some evaporated milk (all we have until I go get him some formula tommorrow) he's sleeping in a laundry basket with like...five towels...
I hope I can give the little guy a chance.

Awww... I'm sad that Bob's mother abandoned him, but I'm glad you took care of him. There should be a special cat milk formula in pet shops as well as a feeding bottle for new born kittens. You're to feed them more than 3 times a day, they've small tummy so they need lots of milk daily, and you've to change the towel everyday, too ^^;;
I had my own experiences of feeding abandoned new born kittens before. It's lovely, and getting to see them grow up as well as getting attached to you like as if you're their "mommy" ^_^ I'm sure you're giving Bob a chance to live, it'll be really rewarding, trust me -though bewarned that he may follow you where-ever you go! Even to the bathroom! *lol* It does happen to me when I raised Pete and Patch single-handedly, though with the help of my mom and my big sis.

Awww, what a cutie!
Almost the exact same thing happened to my friend recently (cat under porch, mother gone, rest of litter died) and so they've been raising the little guy. They just recently found out he's not sick or anything and can keep him.
Good luck, I hope he survives!
