Brigarda are an ancient species of alien golems, in that they were forged from the earth on their home planet, and have existed ever since. Brigarda do not die unless killed, meaning all Brigarda alive now have been alive for thousands of years. After their home planet (designated Brigardevos by foreign entities) was discovered, the Brigarda were virtually hijacked by foreign powers who sought to use these giants in their military. Ultimately, Brigardevos was collateral damage, when the military's enemies bombed the planet to cripple their forces. The planet was rendered (mostly) uninhabitable, forcing most Brigarda to venture off planet, though some remained behind--finally free of their military servitude.

Brigarda do not reproduce, so labs across the galaxy have begun developing means of cloning them so as to prevent this ancient species from going extinct. They are intersex by nature, however their identities and personalities vary as broadly as any other species. They range between 10'-15' in height, generally, and the soft 'nub' spikes on their chins aid their vision and senses by absorbing scents and vibrations.
