"Suddenly, the city had been engulfed by shadow. As the streetlights responded to this sudden outbreak of night, the entire city stopped all at once and turned skyward for an answer to this puzzeling break in the day's predictability.

To their horror, they saw a creature of impossible magnitude. It sat there, strattling the mountainside not even a few miles away for some. The mountains were dwarfed and humbled to it's emmense body, and it's neck stretched impossibly into the very heavens themselves. Twice the size of it's body still, stretched outward and full, were it's wings, their vastness covering the surrounding sky and creating darkness itself.

It opened it's great maw and let out an unearthly, earsplitting roar that shook the mountains themselves and their surrounding city. The people, their dumbstruck amazement having instantly been replaced with fear, began to panic.
