I've wanted to paint a landscape featuring mesas for a while now and I finally managed it. I was a little scared at first but reference helped a lot. And then I kinda got it mixed in with snow because whoops I like snow too.
Went a little crazy with all the detail in this. Had lots of fun doing it though and it was a pretty good learning experience. I learned a lot about painting foliage (especially at a distance) and stony surfaces. Clouds a bit too. :)
The character posed a little trouble because I don't have a huge amount of experience drawing them from behind but I think it came out okay in the end.
Overall I really enjoyed this one. :D
