Due to the losses taken by Artemis Weapon System's attempts at trying to capture the Alice unit, the ALPHA society had decided to take matters into their own hands after receiving a request for aid from the supervisor of affairs. Were the general populace to learn of a self aware Techanoid with combat abilities on such a level to be loose, it would cause such mayhem and work against us in a political standpoint. So, we have decided to dispatch a specialized squadron of R.A.P.T.O.R. units called the Harpy squadron to engage and detain or destroy the Alice. Future info on the Harpy squadron's units will be updated at a later time, so some background information on the Raptor units.

Named after the aged F-22 as well as the birds of prey Raptor units are the backbone of the modern day air forces and work in conjunction with manned fighter jets and ground forces as well. There are multiple versions of Raptors from standard combat models to lightly armed recon types to heavily armed assault variants. They usually operate in squadrons or 'flights' of 3-12 units depending on the mission.

They excel at dogfighting and are also armed with several razor sharp claws and beaks which they use to devastating effect. Being roughly 1/5th the size of a fighter jet they can easily outmaneuver many manned planes and even unmanned drones, tearing their target apart before blasting them. They use the similar method on tanks and ground targets, usually having several pounce on an unfortunate target and flying off to reveal the picked away remains like a carcass. The only time a Raptor would be fighting a target on even groud, or air for that matter, would be if it engaged another Raptor or similar target. Seeing a massive dogfight between flights of Raptors is a sight to behold, if it wasn't so dangerous to be around.

They have multiple propulsion units mounted in their wings which give them their extreme maneuverability. While not fast enough to break the sound barrier, their skills make up for their speed.
