FYI, that was THE last childrens show that was locally done, Even outlasted WGN's Bozo the clown. There are no more dedicated childrens afternoon shows that are locally produced. The golden age of Kids shows from the 50s-mid-70s are just memories now.


Though I still miss Captain Kangaroo.

Still have my Best Of DVD and the CD they released of various songs from the song. "Soggy Cereal." brrrr!

I had to come back here and report that I woke up this morning listening to the radio, and had my ears do a double take, hearing the 'Ho Ho Ha Ha Hee Hee Ha Ha' and the Wallace and Ladmo kazoo theme song playing. I was stunned hearing it and it just lead up to local news.

I felt...wonderful again. I miss the boys! Next time I'm in Arizona I will be making a visit to the Bronze Statues of Wallace, Ladmo and Gerald on the park bench at the Phoenix zoo.

And Yes, I too have the same shirt, worn it locally (Wisconsin) on occasion , 99.98% of the people don't get it, but actually had an older woman look at it and grin saying "Oh my! That brings back childhood memories!! I grew up watching them in Phoenix as a girl."

And I got a copy of the Best of DVD as well off Ebay, Ironically sold by Wallace's daughter.
