An experiment in copper etching. I made a copper plate by flattening a section of copper pipe (I had to anneal it to get it soft enough), covering it in duct tape, and carving a pawprint shape out of the duct tape. I then put it in an etching solution of 2:1 3% hydrogen peroxide and 32% hydrochloric acid for an hour, and buffed it up with a wire wheel.
