Being brought into the Alola region by outsiders, the Scraggy species found the arid and desert areas of the islands to be unsuitable to live in due to the new dangers and predators residing in them. As such, they moved into the more tropical, greener areas of the region, preferably jungles.
As a consequence of this, the Scraggy adapted to camouflage themselves better in their new homes, and suffer a type change as well
some concept before Sun and Moon didn't come out and my hopes and dreams were still afloat, might actually rework this into a non alolan regional variant along with a scrafty
