And finally, the last player's character, Aria. She too is a synthetic, though she uses holograms to give the appearance of being a living, breathing avian.

Aria is an AGI. She’s never actually told me that she’s an AGI, but she’s definitely an AGI. She has expressed distaste, multiple times, at the thought of being sleeved into a biomorph. It’s the same sort of unfounded bias that keeps Jodie from utilizing her potential in a synthetic morph, but to each their own, I suppose.

Initially I wasn’t sure what her purpose in our group was, but she has time and time again proven her prowess on the mechanical side of things. Esme can crack a computerised lock open with the best of them but Aria? She just cuts right through the lock. Following that train of thought, try not to let her close to thermite. Or antimatter, for that matter. Or indeed, any kind of explosive. Don’t fly in her improvised craft either, they have a habit of exploding mid-flight.

But aside from all that, and despite sometimes being a bit hot headed, she has made incredibly strong contributions to the team and I can say with confidence that without her, we’d have died back on Horizon’s Edge.
