Here's a pair of characters for my story that I completely neglected >.> Their design is mostly based off of Giygas and Mewtwo's Mega X form.
Hailing from a race of powerful psychics called Geugans, Giri has trained for most of her life in order to perfect not just her psychic powers, but physical strength as well. As a result, as an adult she became an incredibly powerful warrior, one that many have feared to directly face in combat. Despite her almost cold, merciless personality in combat, outside of it Giri is a compassionate, if a bit impulsive and overprotective person, especially around her younger brother Gyu.
Pretty much an opposite to his older sister when it comes to size and physical strength, Gyu is a rather sweet and kind, precocious child. What he lacks in physical strength, he more than makes up for in psychic abilities which, while nowhere near as developed as Giri's, are still quite impressive, especially for someone his age. Despite his skills, he's very cautious and meek about using his powers, except for hovering/flight capability which he often uses to hide behind his much taller, imposing sibling.
Much like the entirety of their people, neither Giri nor Gyu were prepared for the disaster that would engulf their planet, when it just so happened that a tear in space and time opened within their solar system and unleashed masses of Void entities into the physical realm, which then made a beeline for the Geugan homeworld. Despite their best efforts to repel the invasion, Geugans were no match for their enemies, and the planet was slowly but steadily being dissolved into nothingness. As the last moments drew near, Giri's and Gyu's parents rushed their children to their ship to head off to a distant, ancient Geugan colony at the other side of universe, believed to still be the home to some Geugan refugees that left their homeworld eons ago. Despite their children's pleas, the elderly couple remained behind to buy them some time for escape. Mere seconds after the ship entered hyperdrive, the planet crumbled to dust, as the Void entities resumed their roaming through universe, seeking their next target.
As their ship made it's way across the cosmos, it encountered an anomaly which caused severe damage to it's systems, forcing it out of hyperdrive and making it crashland on planet Ganelomm. With their navigation computer burned to crisp, Giri and Gyu were able to salvage only fragments of the map that leads to the colony, and eventually found their way to the Temple of Eternity. While initially distrustful and reluctant about seeking help from strangers, Giri finally relented under her brother's pressure and pleaded with the Warriors to aid her in finding the lost Geugan colony, and in return she would help them fight against Void entities. Both to help boost their numbers, and to exact revenge for the destruction of her homeworld and the people she cared for.
