A family of Wolven enjoys a picnic in the mountains one fine sunny day.

From left to right in the front row we have Heather, Snowflake (pup), Misu (sleeping pup), Winter, and Merle (pup). Back row is Tripp and Flower (pup). Also featured are butterflies of varying size. :D

Oh, yeah, and an "Easter egg" of sorts - kind of a second signature I was told I could sneak in. (And no, I'm not talking about Mothra's colorful cousin.) I won't give any more hints as to what I'm talking about - take a moment or two to admire the image, and maybe you'll spot it. I was trying to be subtle. :3

Micron inks on Bristol board; colored with Prismacolor markers & pencils. Mad props go out to  indigoangelcat for her dedicated assistance on the shading; its because of her that the fur looks like fur, the bluffs look like bluffs, the grass looks like grass...she's awesome.

All finished, though I need to make sure we got Winter's pelt right. She's *supposed* to have white-tipped black fur, giving her a "frosted" look....which was a wee bit challenging to pull off. (I let Indigo do it. She's better at these things and also I would've probably stabbed someone in frustration if left to my own devices on that score...)
