Kai made no secret of the fact he had a taste for the more mature man. One day he'd set eyes on the veteran wrestler Emerson and loved what he saw. He spent a long time admiring the man from afar and was perfectly content to keep doing that. That is, until Emerson caught on and decided to be friendly. It didn't take too long before the younger dragon asked the older one on a date, nervous but seeing no point in not at least trying.
Their date took place in a nice little cafe in the city. Emerson, always the gentleman, picked Kai up in the afternoon and the two shared drinks, small talk, jokes and stories well into the twilight hours. He knew he was winging it and babbling a lot of the time but Emerson didn't seem to mind, always listening and smiling and laughing. Throughout the whole evening Kai never noticed the roses Emerson was keeping just out of sight, waiting for the right moment to present them
This lovely picture is one I commissioned a while ago and have been fervently checking my emails every day since the middle of July in anticipation of. Two men enjoying some time together on a lovely evening, with drinks and a candle as the evening draws in. Good drink and greater company, it doesn't get much better than that! At least, that is, until roses are brought into the picture!
A big thank you to WFA for bringing this idea to life and putting up with my late replies, worrying over details and thinking I've forgotten stuff. And a huge thank you to Bullwhip for letting me get this picture with his sweetheart dragon Emerson! The same thanks goes to him too as I fussed over details with him too!
