Looking at your badger studies and notes on Pel's anatomy really helped me when I was studying. Especially since the closest I've ever come to seeing a real one is a wombat, and maybe the ferret I saw once at the Easter Show - which really didn't give me a lot to go off.
That's good to know - I was particularly pleased with the skull: when I cut and pasted its jaws closed, the teeth aligned without fiddling!
I'm not sure I've ever seen one live except maybe squished up against glass, asleep. It'd be interesting to stroke one. Also a tiger. I imagine badgers fur is fairly coarse.

Yes, I've heard lions are coarse. I can't remember what rats smell like... I had one as a pretty when I was young - lovely thing.
I stroked a piece of tiger pelt thst had been confiscated by the government and given in parts to a few zoos for educational purposes - that was like a huge housecat. I stroked a deer a while ago and was surprised it felt like a door mat!
Oh, and I got to stroke a skunk a few days ago - it was quite doggy, but felt padded, so maybe its underfur is soft. Cute animal, it was playing pretty much like a ferret with its keeper.
