mab because it looked interesting
Age 5: omg like was complicated when I was 5, that was the year my mother was diagnosed with a large cancerous mass next to her spine. It was also the year my oldest sister went to college, my brother started living the party life, my other brother started to really pick on me, and my dad was constantly away because of business. I spent most of my time at that age sitting in a large apple tree in out back yard talking to my stuffed tiger and seeing if he knew what was going on. But way back when I was a dragon.
Age 13: That was the year my mom finally died, we moved across the county again, my cat ran away and was eaten by a coyote, and we moved into a tiny apartment to wait on our house being built. I didn't really feel like a mythological creature anymore, but I sorta felt like a stray cat at that point. I still carried that stuffed tiger at that age, and that is when I started drawing and writing in black sketch books. I also wore a scarf all the time because it was my mothers... and was the only thing I had from when she was still healthy and alive. (I really did blame myself for everything that had happened)
Age 17: I still felt like a cat... but that was the year I found drugs... or they found me. I know drugs are bad and illegal and all that fun stuff, but at that age it was the only time I felt okay. It was my escapism to feel okay for a while. I went to raves and house parties and was pretty much high as a cloud about 99.99% of the time. I still took that tiger every where >.> *shame....*
Age 25: That really wasn't that long ago... the beginning of that year was a nightmare... but after everything all fell apart. A tiger (Angel) came back into my life and helped me to really look and find myself. To go back and pick up all those little pieces of me to work on being a more solid... a more functional person. That is also when I took art from being a hobby to being something I worked on 24/7. I still have that stuffed tiger, but who would have guessed that a living tiger would have ended up being such a huge help in my life <3

I was *just* looking for the blank of this.
This is awesome in spite of all the sadness, simply because it ends well and as some guy wrote back in the 1600's, "All's well that ends well."
Also, Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. It's not just for Ravers anymore! (always did love PLUR, even before it was a thing.)
