Right-click "Download" and Save As?

Hopefully you've already figured this out from June of 2009. If you haven't, I would guess that you downloaded the file without any issues and it is most likely you can't play it because you don't have a program on your computer that plays MIDI files. Then, when your computer searches for a way to open the file, it recommends Windows Media Player since you probably use Windows. Since you don't like Windows Media Player, try getting another application and you should be all set.
