how strong was the pull?
I could do an 80lb recurve in my prime but about the tiem i hade to quit i was shooting a 60 lb recurve and much heavier compound bows
I used to make primative bows out of animal horn strips they were short curved bows for archery on horseback

~35-40 lb, for entertainment shooting. The set had everything necessary to create it at home, without a workshop, the arms of the bow are made of a strip of fiberglass. He is good at the fact that from a long shooting in a dash, the hand almost does not get tired.
