To be honest, I never figured out whether you live in Kiwiland or Nörway.

Home will always be New Zealand. Home for the moment is Norway, but this is a temporary thing for up to about 5 years while we earn lots of money then do the dirty-foreigner routine and elope back to NZ with our ill-gotten gains

The scene that you're illustraing for me is set on the West Coast of the South Island... a very rugged but beautiful part of the country facing the Tasman sea. And probably unintentionally you've captured it very well and made me all homesick!
