Before I was told the last of my sight had left me I did have the partial ability to watch the episode "The Fault In our Marks". Saphy wrote me after this episode and asked me if I'd put the events of Gabby Griffon and the CMC together to make another panel. This image is in honor of saphy for planting the first seed to get me to do this one more time.
Scoots, voiced by Maddy Peters, really played a huge part in keeping Gabby motivated despite how even she knew there are some things in life that just aren't possible. Well at least not in the ways we often would like them to be possible.
So this picture is a gift to Maddy Peters at BronyCon 2017. It's my way to show how I appreciate her work and the character she plays. Moreover is how, in more than one situation, Scootaloo has been the one who keeps plugging away at keeping her dreams alive despite her limitations. As Scoots said, "Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't ever happen.". This is so true as I continue to find ways to live my life without physical eyesight. It's not as I had wanted my life to be but I know I can still find other ways to contribute to the world by being a friend, husband, father, and mentor to those who need a hand in knowing a disability doesn't mean they are no longer positive contributors to society. :)

This was a great idea that
aricub suggested and we worked on together. I do so love collaborations. :)
You're quite inspiring yourself, my friend. Your tales of aiding our furry and feathered friends shows there are people who care to help to simply be kind to our fellow creatures. I also get wonderful memories of where I grew up when you tell me about your wonderful place in the world.

thanks my friend looks like we help each other out in our own ways but yeah i love helping the wild life oh i'm not sure if i told you this or not but 2 years ago we had a really really big fire roll through our area and i called up the local feed store and got them to bring up 9 big bales of alfalfa hay for the deer we had 20 to 30 deer in our yard for 3 days eating it
yeah my mom was really worried about the deer and some thing really cool but one of the firefighter's we meet when we were staying in town during the fire told us that he saw the deer bedding down in our yard to keep away from the flames our deer just some how know to stay close to our home
as for salt licks, we don't use them but we do put out malaise blocks it has malaise Oat's and other good stuff for them

It must sound really neat hearing the hummingbirds zipping along. It's amazing how they can fly like a VTOL aircraft. They certainly make good use of those super flapping wings.
I bet you could come up with all sorts of fun captions for the deer sharing times at the food lick. <LoL!>

hehe yeah they are really cool i have had a few of them fly up to my bed room window and peek in on me and do their little chirping sounds like they're saying "hay the food is getting low we need a refill"
hehe yeah i often wonder what the deer are thinking i mean do they see us humans as good or evil do they have their own words for us or for the world around them

<LoL!> That's got to be fun seeing the hummingbirds peak in to say, "We know you're in there and know you have that sugary-nectar we like. More please?" :)
I think deer would like humans or despise them based on if they come from hunting regions, or not.
Where I grew up the deer were super tame. You could drive up alongside them and they'd just look at you like, "What? Is there a problem?". You could also toss apples into your yard and they'd come and gobble them up.
A great story from my youth was when our Sheltie managed to catch up to a squirrel in the yard. Apparently the squirrel didn't run and our Sheltie looked at it like, "Uh... Aren't you supposed to run so I can chase you...?".

hehe yeah it is really funny we had a few of them fly up to the flowers that my mom had in her hire when she had her wedding to my step-dad it was really cute and funny
i know our deer are really friendly we have a few who are really tame to where you can feed them right out of your hand
hehe yeah one of my cat's Wolfer she was chasing a Chikara kind of a darker cousin to a squirrel she was running after him he went up a pine tree then turned around and started to chatter at her and Wolfer just look up at him like "oh you can clime i can do it to but i don't feel like it" then he started to toss pine nuts at her and she came back to the door to b let back in

<LoL!> Now that had to be a sight to see! Poor kitty getting nailed by nuts by an angry rodent. It's up there with Pinkie Pie's "Assault Cake". :)
That would be cute for hummingbirds to come and get a treat from a wedding bouquet. Kind of adds a little magic to the occasion. I'd rather have hummingbirds over doves anyday. :)
