Sometimes on days where I don't have ideas, WIPs, or projects, but still want to draw, I'll go into older pics I have and see if I can improve them. Additions, fixes, adjustments, etc...
This is from one of those times. I don't think I'll upload this sort of thing often, but I guess I will today. Really bored + no other art stuff going on = This! Woo!
The original pic [ http://www.furaffinity.net/full/19154002/ ] was one of the first I did of my Drell character, Inden, and is in a pretty different style from my regular stuff. Looking back, it felt a little too blah, though, so I added another layer today and just drew in a bunch of new details and contrast to try and spice it up. I think this one's better, at least! :D

Yeah, I was sorta trying to show that better. I didn't change lighting on him at all, really, but he had the contrast I meant for him already. The setting around him was reaaaaaaaally lacking in black, though, and felt a little flat because of it. 90% of the changes was just giving a bunch of contrasting details to the background. I like it much better, myself!
