This is gorgeous!! Such good color choices and a king cheetah no less!

If it's for references I think flats! I know artists prefer that for reference sheets. ^^

In terms of shading for references, if its the main body shots, Flats are heckin preferred for easier color grabbing
BUT

With your art, the painterly is a dreeeeeeamm

Actually flats can do some tricks for the scenes too, because they make the character to pop out the background, so.. That's why I'm asking x3
