Is there anything in particular I should know about the artist lounge? it sounds like a place i'd spend a lot of time in, but the official description doesn't say much.

Ah, I'm having this persistent feeling of unpreparedness <_< There's... all those things! But I have only a vague idea of what most these things are!

Hm, not really? The artist lounge should be open every evening (and stay open almost all night), there'll probably be lots of people there, drawing or playing games. Art trades happen. Alcohol may be involved. It's really fun, imho. :>
And don't worry, I know that feeling all too well x) You'll be alright! Have a look through the conbook when you register, it has a nice overview of all the activities and areas and all that!
