Welcome to one of my favorite side dishes!!!! After FINALLY getting my husband to start eating brussel sprouts this is a MUST to continue eating them!!!
Ingredients:
1 Bag Brussel Sprouts
Butter (Just alot)
Minced Garlic
Salt
(Optional) Garlic Salt, Italian Seasoning
Recipe:
First take all of the brussel sprouts and cut off the ends, then cut them in half
Once thats done, heat up a HEAPING bit of butter in your saucepan with about a spoonful of minced garlic.
Once thats melted start putting your brussel sprouts down, cut side down, make sure to put the thickest parts where the heat is hottest on old stoves. Make sure to dump in extra leaves about now.
Add more butter! Dont be shy! Those sprouts suck up the butter like sponges!
DO NOT COVER UP, if you do cover up itll make the sprouts all mushy and gross.
Cook sprouts until desired brownness or blackened. The Hittite likes his "slightly blackened" as it develops flavor more.
Stir the sprouts around so that the leaves can get some of that flavor in and then when you are done, put them in a bowl and add salt. Optional to add garlic salt or herbs at this point.
