I agree and I think it's the thumbs. Anatomically speaking the thumb pads should be pointing towards the opposite hand, not up. His left hand isn't too much of an issue, it's his right hand that's really throwing me off. Hands are really annoying to draw to begin with, but overall this image is just stunning.
i do see what you are saying, the thumbs are a little off, but i feel like something around the wrist is feeling a little wrong to me. I'm not an artist though so i'm always hesitant to give any sort of criticism, but i do hear artists complaining about how hard hands can be, i assume because of all the joints and angles that can be involved.
