Ripped from a story I wrote either in ’95 or ’96 (I don’t have the original pics handy so I’m not entirely sure) that took place around x-mas, Poor Spidey here, wandering the snow blanketed streets of a bustling city, sees his reflection for the first time in a shop window…and ends up smashing it in sheer horror. He’s soon taught, by my very first anthro characters, a wolf, that his looks are nothing to be ashamed or afraid of, despite the less then warm receptions he received from the citizens of the city.
This picture, taking place several years after that incident, shows a much happier Spidey, so proud of his muscular body he can’t help but go wandering about in nothing but a pair of very short shorts. Living in an apartment with several other furry characters (all of which pre-date absolutely everything you see in this gallery) he lives a very happy life, working as a weight lifting instructor at a local gym. With as many hands as he has at his disposal, bodybuilders in training can lift with ease knowing that no matter how much weight they attempt to lift, there’s a good six steady hands to ensure safety should they be unable to keep the weights up by themselves! Loveable, charming, and as innocent as thy day he seemingly appeared on the streets out of thin air, Spidey is as likeable as they come, despite his monstrous appearance. Winning over just about everyone with his carefree personality, it easy for Spidey to forget at times…he’s the only anthro spider in all the population!
…least that he’s aware of, anyway.
*Happy critiquing note; This picture pre-dates absolutely everything featured in my gallery…yes, it’s that old. So I’m already aware of any flaws in the anatomy or whatever else is wrong with it. I still really liked the picture and the character however!

*chuckles* well technically when I originally drew him, he wore jeans and a ripped tank top, then I updated him (along with several other chars) and I went with the shorts. They seem to fit him well and this is his first color picture I think so...yea he probably won't wear anything else again!
