---"Okay, I've decided!" the young wingless Rito boy said, "I'll ascend this mountain and get a scale from the dragon so I can grow my wings! It can't be that bad, right? You did it too, after all!" he said to the Rito girl who did have wings.

"Oh, yeah, it's...um..." she said, trailing off as she remembered the time she got her own scale...

She remembered reaching the dragon, who had laughed, clutching his big belly. "So you wish for one of my scales? But can you pass the trial?" he said, licking draconic muzzle.

"Of course!" She had said back then, with such foolish determination, to which the dragon shrug.

"Then let the trial begin~"

The dragon lifted a lazy finger, and in an instant, she felt herself wrapped up in some mysterious energy. It wasn't long before she felt her skin tingling all over.

"What?! What's--" she gasped, as her beak grew out longer and more formed, her mouth becoming part of it. "Rawwrrrkkkeeek?!" she yelped, halfway between a squawk and squeal, as her belly bulged and stretched her long dress. She fell to her knees from the weight of the growing belly, as her chest soon inflated too, growing and growing as her belly did! Her thighs thickened but her lower legs hardened into orange-yellow talons, as she then gasped, feeling her skin tingle suddenly explode into silky white feathers all over! Her arms had grown into fully fledged wings, as she had grown several tail feathers as well. Her dress barely held as her belly jiggled..

"P...pawk pawkkk?!" the plump chicken girl said in confused panic.

The dragon, meanwhile, had taken off one of his many scales, putting it on what looked like a lever. The other end of the lever, which had what looked like a large vat.

"Now that you're nice and plump --and just filled with eggs --you'll need to lay enough to fill that bucket right up! When you put enough weight into it, the lever will tip and you will receive your scale. It will turn you right back and you will have your wings!" he chuckled.

The girl groaned, feeling her feathery belly, brushing it with her wings, as the dragon added, "And of course if you need help with those eggs, I heard that having a mate or two can help those slide right out~"

He grinned again~

"Uh, you were saying?" the boy snapped the girl back from her memories, as she waved a hand.

"Oh, yeah, it's totally easy! You should go for it." she said, as the boy laughed "I knew it! Right, off I go!"

He went up the mountain to visit the dragon as she did, and she couldn't help but wonder if his trial was going to be the same...

Medli from the Legend of Zelda: Windwaker being transformed into a full chicken! It was too tempting an idea, considering she's already a bird girl. I was going to make it Komali originally, but went with this instead.

Maybe the boy will get to be in a follow up. Who knows! He needs to get a scale eventually, after all!
