Mizzie, the fire moth. She was a defender of her town. Very strong as a kid. Trained everyday and fought off the darkness with her friends and teacher till it looked like the threat was gone, the monsters that the majority of the population can't see. Years after things became very different.
Mizzie went through life not knowing what to do. She also gained a lot of weight over time and stopped training in focus of a future for something she may or may not like. The shadows showed up around the city. Mizzie was unprepared to fight them and this would occupy a lot of time that would have been used to study.
