Short Version:
Broke up from a 4 year long relationship. Need to move back to where family and friends are which is 3k miles away.
Long Version:
I was with my boyfriend for over 4 years. Two years ago we moved from Washington to Delaware. We moved for a job that he wanted. We knew no one here and honestly, never really made good relationships with new people.
However, our relationship suffered a lot. We ended things on August 1st. We are on good terms and wish the best for each of us. I however, dont know anyone here, so my option is to move back home where my friends and family are. While I have a place to live when I get there, I am short on the funds to get myself and my items there.
I have a butt of a cat who I adore a ton and have had for over 6 years. He unfortunately does not travel well in planes. So I am seeking funds to rent a uhaul and drive there. He can handle the car and its a lot easier to make sure my stuff is safe during the 3,000 mile trip.
I would really like to get the funds together asap.
While the now Ex, has said that he understands I need time to get my stuff together. I would like to get myself away so we can both heal. I care deeply about the guy, but I know being close after breaking up hurts.
I would love any support I can get. This a very terrifying new chapter of my life. Anything and everything helps.

If you didnt read above. Cause of my cats health, I WILL NOT be taking a plane. Please stop asking.
Why not take a Train/Bus?
They dont allow cats for that long of a trip. 3k miles takes DAYS, and most trains and Bus only allow pets to be on there for 7-8 hours max.
Why not rent a car and ship stuff?
Hilariously enough, renting a car is about the same price as renting a truck from Uhaul/Penske. Which I find ridiculous. Shipping on top of that? yeah, no.
