I LOVE this picture. I think this is the best photograph I have ever taken. I cannot remember the name of this person to save my life, but this came out beautifully. The original picture is a lot bigger and much more detailed, but even smaller it is wonderful. The mummy was laying in her/his simple wooden tomb still, with no hieroglyphics decorating her/his final resting place... but there was something almost sacred about seeing this in person, and the picture still gives me that feeling. There was nothing frightening about seeing this, at least to me.... just sort of calming.
