My character Enorach again! :D
No, he's not holding the sword in the wrong way, it was a real technique used in medieval times when facing armored opponents. It was called Mordhau, or "murder-stroke", and consisted in holding the sword by the blade and using the quillons and pommel like they were a mace, basically.

Aware of this, funny now as well overall how many don't know but, quite obvious. People often think it's not very wise to hold on from USUALLY sharp blades anyway. Would consider same about as well, wearing at least good gloves for that in any case! Very good work of course from you as always! ^^
Oh fancy that, I am aware of this technique. I recall some documents said that the way the sword was used, was like a modern day crowbar. Getting it stuck somewhere and toppling the heavily armored opponent to the ground. Also a possibility, but I'd rather use it was an improvised sharp edged mace :3
Nice job!
