First and foremost, I would have submitted this a few days ago, but I can't upload .wma files. Not to mention I had to re-download software that would work on Windows Error, I mean, Vista, even though I still couldn't convert.
Anyway, this is the first track that I was working on and didn't finish because I couldn't think of anything at the time, not to mention it suffers the same thing that my first DS-10 suffers - not enough room for my song.
Somewhere along the way, when I was thinking of more stuff, the delay started to sound weird. Maybe I accidentally changed a parameter? Well, you might be able to tell somewhere later in the song. Also, at the last minute, some of my drum samples changed (namely the clap sound), and they sound BAD. You will definitely be able to tell what I'm talking about when you listen.
Also, that chirp sample that you hear is not supposed to sound like that. That only comes from the fact that I can only have 1 effect on at a time, and for this song I needed 2 - Delay and Flanger. I chose delay, as that's the main part of the song and what I was driving towards.
Just with the first song, I plan on redoing and maybe remixing this song sometime later. The name comes from the fact that when I first started this track, I was trying to recreate a Tetris song, but changed it a lot.
"Why do I upload these songs if they sound so bad" you may ask. Well, I was thinking that too a couple of days ago, and I think that it's better for me to show some of my flaws and how I achieved what I achieved, rather than pretending like I'm perfect and only uploading OMG awesome quality pro sounding stuff all the time. Bloopers can be a good thing.
Enjoy what I do have. More to come as I'm already working on another DS-10 track.
