It's his golden dragon character, on a cliff overlooking the sea. Looks like a storm is coming...
I really really like how this tuned out :3 The background is my first photomanipulation: I tried to add a cartoony effect to the real life picture and I think I did it well ^^
Second, no scaley texture on the dragon this time. I wanted him to look golden and shiny, and the texture was bugging me. Also look at the horns! They are my favourite part in this drawing! So shiny :3
The scar is fully painted digitally, with a new tecnique. And I discovered that braids are soo annoying to shade. D:
What else can I say, doing the kanji on the swords and on the beads was fun, I love japanese writing ^^ And they give an overall nipponic atmosphere to the drawing: the shore, the sea, the dragon, the swords... I could perfectly imagine this drawing as a screenshot of one of those 70/80s anime openings, maybe with some credits written in japanese on the side... hehe
