Actually it'd make a pretty good diet, as its nutritious and full of protein. The mountain men and other wilderness survivers sometimes had nothing but that to live off of during winter, as well as whatever they could hunt. Jerky and water though..might be a diet that'd get pretty old after awhile. All that chewing makes the jaw very sore:p.
