i seem to see this character in this same pose quite often
sidenote: the blur on the frame is a tad high, its in my opinion taking away from the character models quality too much ( bit too much softening going on )

Since it's 2D sprites and not 3D models there's a limit to the kind of resolution I can get out of them. They're already stretched further than 1:1 pixels most of the time, that's the blur you're seeing since the blur on the optional "grain" setting only effects the edges of the screen.

I could add an option for sharp pixels, I just don't think that'd look so hot.

I'm a big fan of super sampling whenever I can, but it only really helps with infinitely scale-able stuff like polygons or vector graphics. Sprites don't benefit from it.

They're 3D models but they're pre-rendered. Think Donkey Kong Country.

Just a question, but is Arlene the only one you can 'get together' with at this point? May just says she's fine and thanks you for talking with her, and Lucia's path just ends in the car on the way home. So, unless I'm missing something, Arlene seems to be the only one. And yeah, I know, Demo and all. That's fine, I wasn't expecting a full game or anything, just wondering. ^^

Also a semi-related question, any reason you started the demo off at this point instead of in May's apartment? The last demo I played started off with you already in May's apartment, so was just curious. Great game so far, man, can't wait until the 3rd when the full version is released!
