There are pros and cons to living in a nature rich area. I love seeing the beautiful critters around here, but every time it storms, I get a little worried. Last week, we had a really bad storm that knocked down a ton of trees and since every house here is surrounded by them, the storm cause quite a bit of damage. My aunt's brother's car was totaled by a tree falling over and several pontoon boats throughout the neighborhood were destroyed (one of which was flipped over). We were fortunate that our vehicles and house were left unscathed. So why am I bringing this up? That blue heron is about ~3.5 feet tall. Behind him is the underside of a large oak tree that was blown over by the winds... Thank goodness it didn't hit the person's house or do any severe damage, but holy hell was that crazy seeing!
