A Reminder of Love
I've seen way too much ignorance and hate and phobia in the past six months to overwhelm the rest of my life. By some estimates we have as much as a coin toss on us as a species wiping ourselves out by the end of the century.
Don't forget to take a break though from all the yelling, screaming, and fighting back against fascist views and oppressive rhetoric. There may be regimes working to splinter Democracy from within, but we can still just let go of the hate and rise above the noise to hug the world, to stop fighting and start cooperating again. To educate the ignorant, to restore the lost trust, and to remove those in capitalist corruption from power through legal and justified methods.
Remember to breathe, to enjoy, and to love the world. You're related to every other human being on this planet through some distant twists and turns of fate, so why not try to understand them just a little better?

The world may not be ideal... but has come far from what it once was. It will never become perfect, but we should take the good of it, and continue to strive for those moments. Make a friend smile, they will remember it. If one can do that, then already they're making the world a better place.
It just reminds me of a line, once again, from the original "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" BBC TV series.
"...and then, some two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change..."
Thanks for not giving up, Tyrnn. I'm-a not givin' up, either.
