After dwelling on my characters and wondering how to handle some of the recent events in my life and also in trying to get back into drawing, I realized that I didn't have a character that I made to be my fursona. All of my characters thus far have been either made for someone, a gift from someone, bought from another artist, or made for rp purposes, and I never really sat down and figured out what the 'me' character should be other than just picking whatever one I liked most at the time.

So with that in mind, I present Lyra, a patient dragon with a very silly sense of humor. She tries to be as helpful as she can and enjoys helping to make people happy, but beneath that happy, helpful visage is one of the dirtiest minds you'll ever encounter.

I am rather pleased with how this turned out after the long hiatus away from drawing, I think the last time I did anything that wasn't just a 5 minute sketch to say "there I drew something" was in March. I won't promise a timeline of anything but I look forward to doing more with her in the near future! She was very fun to draw and really re-ignited my enjoyment of creating something.
