This is the start of a new series of stories based on what happen at the very end of the old 5 part "Hack Rat" stories, after Penny and Tommy got sucked into the gaming word once the evil troll rat's plan had been revealed.
Now the two of them has to survive game after game as they try to figure out just how to get out of this nightmare!

Things had really been taking a turn for the worse now that Tommy revealed Penny's handsome boss for actually being his old gamer buddy Meek Limburg, who had now been taking on a trollish alternative identity as "Hack Rat”. Now with his cover blown, Hack Rat pulled a dick move and banished both of them into a virtual reality he created in the event that his previous plan failed!
Now trapped with seemingly no way of escaping, the large mouse girl and smaller cat boy was at first just seemingly floating in what felt like limbo (or a loading screen with animated Polybius graphics), before suddenly ending up into contact with solid ground!
Upon getting up and shaking off the impact, they both quickly studied their new surroundings. There was not much to take in as they were being surrounded by glowing, featureless walls reaching up far higher than the average city avenue.
There was corridors to turn into and walk through, but upon looking around the closest corner they could both see that they only seemed to lead to more roads looking the same.
"Ah!! I feel like a lab rat in a maze!" Tommy scream out in horror before hearing a small cough, and upon looking up he could see that his extra large rodent girl friend didn't look very pleased with that comment.
"Eh, he, he...Sorry." Tommy then quickly said before asking "Just were are we?"
“I don't know, Tommy. It's so... quiet and lonesome.” said Penny. “Wait! Look over here, Tommy! Look!”
Having seem some strange lights Penny walked over to find a small line of glowing orbs just floating in the air, and upon touching one of them it disappeared as a "Waka" sound could be heard and the number "10" could be seen before shortly disappearing again.
"What the...?" Penny asked in confusion when she felt Tommy walking into her back and having a very big stutter in his voice as he was saying, "P-P-Penny...!"
"What is it?" Penny asked as she turned over to see a pink pixelated nightmare approaching as Tommy mustered the word, "G-G-Ghost!!!"
This ghost was a fleshless, raggedy, free-floating ghoul whose a strange pink glow alleviated it's unsettling appearance. Whether it was a legit threat to run away from or it was just a cheap Halloween stunt, it sent both Tommy and Penny running scared!
Having to run away now, both Penny and Tommy still had no full idea on what was going on when suddenly the voice of someone very familiar was being heard.
"Heh-hurr, heh-hurr, heh-huuuurr!! LOOks likE yOO dIdn't ExpEct tihs tO hAppEn! TO jUst bE tEh tIny little pOOns of tihs gAAm, And gEhting chAssed ArUnd tEh scrEEn fOrEvEr! Let's sEE hOw lOng yOO tOO cAn sUrvIve, shAll wEE?!" A distorting (and derpy) voice was heard saying, and it didn't take long for the trapped couple to know that it was indeed the works of the evil and crazy Hack Rat!
As they kept on trying to outrun the pink ghost Penny and Tommy was forced into taking many sudden detours, as they soon started to also run into a red, orange, and cyan coloured ghosts!
Having now four baddies chasing them down in a line, the mouse and cat duo really didn't know what to do now! Suddenly, the menacing ghosts all stopped in their pursuit and turned a deep glowing blue! Their skeletal features then changed from fearsome grimaces to helpless dread and panic! Then from around the corner, the sound of someone VERY familiar approaching!
Appearing out in the open was the one and only Pac-Man! But this didn't look at all like the kid-friendly Pac-Man. His skin was a sickly pale yellow, his eyes were just hollow sockets, and his bloody teeth were all crooked and jagged despite his extra-large mouth constantly opening and closing like the eating machine he is! No doubt this big yellow terror was ready to take on the buffet that Penny and Tommy was giving to him.
Taking off into the closest opening, Penny and Tommy was hoping to soon hear the sound of the four ghost being devoured by Pac-Man, but instead they had to start running again as now they had both the ghosts AND Pac-Man chasing after them (once the ghosts spawned back in with their proper colors)!
Hack Rat's voice once again boomed as the two ran for their lives:
"NOw dO yOO sEE, O'Mallix? Now dO yOO sEE, Penny? Tihs Is whAt It's lEIk tO hAvE pEOplE whO yOO tOUhght wErE frIEnds, nOw tEhy All tUrn AGAINST YOO! BETRAY YOU!! EnjOy yEr GAME OVER, jErks!"
“(pant, pant) Dammit, Meek!” panted Tommy. “You've taken this WAY TOO FAR!”
“No kidding! (pant, pant)” huffed Penny. “It's like he's never had a good co-op experience in YEARS!”
Finding themselves about to run into a corner of the maze with the whole cast of Pac-Man coming after them, it all looked completely doomed for Penny and Tommy when the big mouse girl saw what was awaiting them at the very end: a power Pellet!
Penny was just about to pick it up when Tommy stopped her and said, "No, wait! If you touch it with your hands it might disappear, like the orb did before."
"But I must grab it so we can defend ourselves somehow! Unless..." Penny said when she seemed to have an idea on what to do.
Tommy was just about to ask what her idea was when he suddenly saw Penny diving forth with her mouth wide open, and in a blink of an eye she had swallowed up the whole Power Pellet!
Looking down Penny could see that she had now a big round glow from her belly and it began to rumble and shake! A dumbfounded Tommy was just about to ask "WHAT IN THE HECK DID YOU JUST DO?!" when suddenly a big explosion of light engulfed it all!
When Tommy could open his eyes again, he couldn't believe them as he saw what Penny had transformed into, as she was now an even bigger and rounder version of herself!
Imagine Mrs. Pac-Man, but instead of a yellow ball with a bow and lipstick she was all grey with freckles, wearing glasses and sporting a headband that said “Paccin' Like a Mother!”
Tommy was completely speechless now, and while Hack Rat had his mic turned on again to say something he just managed to let out a bunch of unrecognisable noise over what had just happened!
“WHOZZAWAHT?! Deh-hurrrr?! Penny... YOO HACKERRRR!!”
(Ironic for a hacker to accuse another, isn't it?)
Looking over at the pack of enemies chasing them, Pac-Penny saw how all of them now upon seeing her in this shape was fleeing, also turning blue with scared faces on them. Knowing this game like the back of her hand she knew what she needed to do to win it.
Taking off at a great speed the sound, Penny's big mouth chomped and chomped as she sped closer to the ghosts and Pac-Man with each passing second!
They flew as fast as they could, but didn't stand a chance as Penny bit into each of the ghosts one at the time, and as they dissolved into her big mouth a big 200, then 400, 800, and 1600-point marks popped up as she continued on. (Indicating the amount of points each one of the ghosts was worth.)
Finally all that was left was the deranged version of Pac-Man himself! The demented creep seemed even more scared about having his life cut off by this invading creature, but eventually even he wasn't able to escape his fate.
As Penny completely engulfed and swallowed up Pac-Man, the familiar game over squeal and blip from the main character could be heard as the scoreboard couldn't either comprehend something like this happening! It first showed a complete 9999999 in high score, but then the whole game just crashed!
As it did so, Penny got transformed back into her normal self (with a noticeably filled up and bloated stomach) before she and Tommy felt the ground underneath them breaking up, as they both ended up falling out of the game and falling through the Polybius graphic loading screen limbo once more!
Penny wanted to scream, but she held tight to her stomach over the pains of digesting all of those foes. “BUUU-URP! Uuugh, that'll spoil my dinner!” she mused despite the sudden changing of events. "Who thought that a bunch of data would be taking up so much space in my tummy?"
Soon enough, both Penny and Tommy started to see a light emerging, as they were soon to appear in another type of game!
Upon getting a clear view again, the first thing Penny could feel was yet another painful tightness around her belly, and upon looking down she saw that it wasn't that she had eaten more game characters, but that she had got her clothes changed. Instead of her usual shirt and shorts she was now sporting a long Pink dress, that was really wrapped tight around her wide, curvy frame. And she almost stumbled discovering her feet encased in tiny orange pumps.
“Eep!” Penny blushed, “Okay, like, this is WAY too girly for my taste! Tommy? Where are you?!”
When looking down she also saw that she was stuck on a platform at the very top of a high tower, consisting of many ladders and a bunch of barrels.
At the very bottom she saw Tommy as he was dressed as a certain Italian Plumber from the Video Game world, and that made it all to clear in just what game they were a part of now.
“Oh, I wanted to be dressed like that!” pouted Penny, being the real fan of the Mario Brothers more than Tommy.
“Heh. I guess beggars can't be choosers...?” replied Tommy, sheepishly.
“Oh, shut up!” snapped Penny. “What are we supposed to do now?”
Hack Rat's voice boomed once more, introducing the new scenario:
"Heh-hurr! HUrry! HUrry, O'Mallix! YOO bEhtEr sAve yOr 'damsel in distress' At tEh tOp frOm... dAt LEGENDARY BEAST OF BURDEN!!"
Penny was furious! "Ooooh! Listen, creep! I am NOT going to just stand here in a sexist choice of clothes and do nothing! I will get down there, meet up with Tommy, and call this game done!" when she suddenly felt a shadow overtaking her. Upon looking up, Penny saw that it was Donkey Kong!
This Donkey Kong was not the same iconic ape as he appears now. He was more like a photorealistic gorilla with scars and glowing yellow eyes glaring down at his prized damsel in distress! He was defiantly bigger looking up close as he towered more then four times as high then Penny herself did! (And that's including her already standing on a pretty high platform.)
Realising that escaping from the giant ape's clutches was not going to happen, it seemed that Tommy getting up to the top would be the only way to win this game, as Penny just sat down and groaned over how useless it made her feel now.
It was not much easier for Tommy as the now Mario-dressed cat still had the daunting task of seemingly endless climbing of steel beams and the constant threat of barrels rolling down upon him!
Donkey Kong wasn't holding anything back as he was sending endless volleys of barrels both across the platforms and falling down the ladders, as the ape only had his mind set to show no mercy and kill this tiny cat!
After having to run, jump, and climb his way all over Tommy finally saw something that could help make it all just a little bit easier for him: the Hammer!
As soon as he grabbed a hold of it, Tommy almost was being killed by an oncoming barrel, but he quickly swung that sucker around and made that barrel explode into nothing but a dust of pixels.
“Huh!” Tommy pondered, “How the heck does the physics of this game work?! I am holding a Hammer being about as large as me, that still weights next to nothing, and can send out slams about as powerful as a nuke?!"
Suddenly, Tommy had an idea of how to use this logic of weight to help him and Penny win the game much quicker!
"Hey, Penny! Catch!" Tommy shouted before he gave his all and sent his hammer flying high upwards and towards his trapped Penny, who managed to catch the hammer's handle perfectly in one hand!
Wielding the power of a Nordic God, Penny waited for Donkey Kong to turn around, and while carrying an extra large barrel over his head, and see how the "Damsel in Distress" now was holding the most powerful weapon of the whole game!
With no time to react Penny just said "GAMESET, jackass!" before swinging the hammer with full force into his head like a baseball, sending the giant ape flying way off into the distance before slamming into the background of the game!
The pure impact of this literally made the game crash as walls and scoreboards started to glitch out, and the entire stage itself started to collapse into the dark void of bellow!
“Oh, great!” pouted Penny. “What next?!”
“As far as I'm concerned...” Tommy replied, “I can take on any game at this point! Bring it on!”
Once again, Penny and Tommy felling into darkness, followed by the flashing Polybuis graphics again, and then finally both Penny and Tommy ending up inside some kind of game they were both familiar with, but didn't expect.
This time, Tommy found himself to be all alone and strapped inside of a small spaceship fighter that was constantly flying forward in outer space.
“Oh, man!” Tommy mused, “We're in a SHUMP game! Penny? You in here?” But Penny wasn't in the ship with him, nor was she anywhere in sight in the dark void of space. Soon enough, he found himself entering a large space station as big as the Death Star. It was dark and quiet, adding to Tommy's dread even further.
Tommy felt a bit scared over being all alone for once, as he didn't know if Penny was safe and if winning the game by himself. Would that mean that his dear mouse girl would be left behind inside this game forever, even if he kept moving forward? Pretty soon those thoughts was pretty much gone as Tommy found he had suddenly HUNDREDS of enemy ships flying toward him and attacking him with bright orange bullets!
Tommy fortunately had a partial affinity for shoot-em-ups in his younger years at the arcade, so he had to put all his focus on dodging and shooting back at every single mook and klingon! Thanks to random power-up drops, his semi-auto ship blaster soon became upgraded into a full-auto spray of plasma blasts (but that didn't make it all the easier to dodge the incoming enemy fire).
Feeling his stress levels getting up to max very quickly from this bullet hell, Tommy wasn't very sure that he could handle all the hordes of ships constantly bombarding him! He was almost about to be hit dead-on by a bright orange projectile when something gigantic suddenly came down to shake things up!
All of the sudden he saw how a big fleshy foot encased in a metallic, open-toed shoe come down and crush an entire squad in one big stomp, and upon looking up he saw how the one the foot belong to looked very familiar.
"Four big, plump toes, freckles on the fender... Penny?!" Tommy shouted out pleasantly surprised before he looked up speechless. The cat was stunned to see that his already big girl now stood as a 50 feet tall version of herself, dressed in giant robot armour over her chest and hips like a bikini and all lit up with flashing light bands across her arms, legs, and neck!
She looked like a real spectacle now, and upon looking down she too couldn't believe her change as Tommy now looked just like a little speck in his ship.
"Tommy? W-What is this? What happened to m... my voice?!" A very auto-tuned sounding Penny asked out as the cackling laughter of Hack Rat could be heard once more!
"My, my. lOOks lEIk tEh twO lOOvErs are nOw fOrcEd tO fIght EAch OOthEr! TEh Only wAy tO wIn Is EIthEr fOr thE brAve Tommy O'Mallix tOO dEfEAt hIs trUE lUrv nOw tUrnEd fInAl bOOss, Or lEht hEr tAke hIs One rEmAInIng KONAMI REST!”
“Meek, you bastard!” Tommy shouted. “We'll get you for this! I don't even know WHY Konami calls lives 'RESTS', man!”
"Tommy, I... I don't want to kill you!" Penny shouted down as she was almost starting to cry over the thought of having to take the life of the one she loves so much, and Tommy tried to comfort her saying that.
"I know you don't want to, Penny-baby.", said Tommy, undaunted. “You've always been my best couch co-op player and I won't give up on you, no matter what.”
“Aw, Tommy...” sniffed Penny. “I mean, how does even expect us to turn on each other?”
"LESS TALK! MOAR KILLING!!" yelled Hack Rat, interrupting as a new fleet of thousands of enemy ships came flying towards them!
Seeing a big V shaped swarm coming in from the left side of the corridor, Penny got into a fighting stance. “Stay close to me, Tommy!” she ordered. “We'll taken all out together!”
As she got into her stance, however, Tommy yelped as he had to steer clear of the giant Mecha-Penny's massive rear! “Hey! Watch it!”, he cried.
“Oh!” blushed Penny. “Heh, heh... sorry. Kinda forgot I had such a big-- bi..”
Penny's words were cut short as what sounded like typical electronic Japanese music started to play. Penny started to feel a bit of a rhythm, as she was having a bit of a dance across down the corridor battlefield and with each step she took the seemingly "endless" amount of enemy ships started to dwindle down a lot as they crashed into the bulk of her stomach, ass, and thighs or ended up stomped on by her large feet!
“Avast your Ass, by Kitsune-Squared?” shouted Tommy, bewildered at the choice of music. “What a weird track to dance to. Then again, Penny sure looks good dancing to-- WHOA!!”
While it seemed that Penny did all the work in taking out the enemy ships, Tommy had to be careful not to crash into Penny or get stomped on! He bobbed and weaved back and forth, u-turned, and yes, DID A BARREL ROLL to avoid losing his one “rest”. It didn't matter that he was missing out on Penny's spectacular sexy dancing. He was just trying to stay alive!
After having hold off against the hoard of enemies, the music stopped and Mecha-Penny came to her senses (or in this case her own default programming).
“Whoa...” Penny asked, bewildered. “Was I.. dancing?”
“Yeah, you almost killed me along with the other bad guys, too!” replied Tommy.
Before Penny could apologize, they both seemed to be coming towards what looked like a dead end, as they were being greeted by two large metallic doors.
This is where having the screen constantly scrolling to the right now was a bit of a problem, as if they didn't do something they would soon end up getting crushed when they reach the far left side!
That's when Penny decided to pull off a “Metroid Hatchling Savior” and she walked over towards the big doors, took a grip of the crack with both hands and she pulled against them with all her might!
Despite having seen just how big and powerful she is in this game Tommy still got really amazed when he saw how Penny managed to break the big doors and force them apart enough so that Tommy could enter into what seemed to be the "Unreachable Area" of the game.
"Go in there Tommy! Win this thing for us!" Penny said as Tommy flew in to face off against whatever could be waiting! The doors slammed then slammed shut, sealing Tommy inside to face the biggest challenge to come.
Entering the new area, Tommy noticed how he was just left alone inside of a seemingly big empty space. "Hello? Anyone there?" Tommy asked out as a big loud "SIGH" could be heard in response.
"SOOooo... O'Mallix. We meet... again!" Hack Rat's voice now reverting to a more comprehensive dialect as he continued to announce to him with his disembodied voice. “Now that your oversized girlfriend is sealed out there, I shall see to it that this final boss battle be your ultimate end!”
Eventually, something big emerged from the shadows! As it entered into his view Tommy got a little scared as he saw that it seemed to be a Battleship looking thing about 100 times larger then his own ship, and to be even more horrific to look at it had Hack Rat's big ugly mug embossed at the bow of it!
"Prepare to become SPACE DUST!" the robotic Hack Rat battleship announced! He/it then began to use all of it's big turrets to send great amounts of laser blasts to attack him!
Tommy knew he would have to rely solely on his own mad skills of old arcade shooters, as all he could do was to play the game by dodging the enemy blasts and shoot back against the turrets.
It looked like a completely impossible thing to fight against, but that was also the whole point of an actual boss battle. (To make the player feel like this giant thing might be to much for it to win over.) For Tommy it was mostly a long process of patience of knowing the rhythm of the blasts, and shooting back as soon as he was given a clear view of his targets.
Hack Rat had first thought that he had been having this in the bag, but very soon he came to find the harsh reality that all of his turrets had been taking to much damage, and was now all destroyed!
It looked now like HE was the one being unable to defend himself against tiny Tommy and his blasts, but being the dirty cheater that he was, the smelly rat just pressed a button back in reality on his control-panel. Tommy watched in shock as it was all suddenly changing like a Transformer!
Taking on a different shape, the once half broken battleship did now instead resemble a giant robotic replica of Hack Rat himself! He stared at Tommy with large glowing yellow eyes and then he swung each arm to swat on him like a fly, launched a volley of homing missiles, and “Shooped the Woop” a huge laser from his... belly button?
“Oh, I got a million other attacks for you, O'Mallix!”, bragged the robotic Hack Rat. “Including glitched ones you can't possibly avoid!”
"Oh, no you don't!" the robotic voice of Penny cried out! She forced the giant doors open wide enough to squeeze her fat body through, before then charging in and getting the Hack Rat robot into a locked grip by the hands!
Final Round, FIGHT!
Watching on how these two mechanical giants were duking it out, Tommy's eyes managed to notice something. The blast from Hack Rat's belly button had a long delay before discharging. Tommy couldn't tell before because if the homing missiles that kept him busy and had to shoot at them to keep them from destroying his ship. But now that same belly button blast was warming up as Penny and Hack Rat locked hands and was about to go off and penetrate Penny for good! (In a practical sense, of course. Not the explicit way.)
Recalling his Star Wars lore, Tommy knew just what to do to take care of this serious threat towards his girlfriend. He quickly flew up and charged his own blasters up to maximum force as he came to face directly into the belly button shaft where the blast was about go off! He blasted at the navel and then boosted off as fast as he could, as the Hack Rat robot suddenly felt having a big explosion taking place right inside it's abdomin!
Penny could also see that something wasn't right with Hack Rat and when seeing his whole robotic body starting to inflate out from all the pressure building up she too figured it was best to escape the room!
Being unable to do anything to prevent what was happening to his character Hack Rat could only watch on as his robotic game avatar blew up and caused even this game to completely crash down!
This was now the third game that those two had managed to ruin for him, and as the real Hack Rat was sitting by his controls and screens it was really starting to annoy him for real now.
"RRRRGH?! WHYYYEEE?!” Hack Rat shouted in anger! “All I wAntEd wAs tO hAvE PEnny fOr mysElf, And thAt TOmmy wOuld bE gOne OncE And fEr All!!!" Hack Rat then took a big sip from his extra large, super-sweet game fuel soda to try and calm himself down. "NEvEr mInd...I'vE gOt hOOndrEd's mOre gAAms I cAn pUt tEhm in! And If tEhy EIthEr End wIth PEnny All tO mysElf, or hEr And hIm both dying...I wOnt kErr! All tAht mEttErs Is thAt... I WIN!" He let out a hushed, perverted, sinister villain laugh to himself, as it made him confident as ever to feel that he was in control over the lives of his captors.

Suddenly, the menacing ghosts all stopped in their pursuit and turned a deep glowing blue! Their skeletal features then changed from fearsome grimaces to helpless dread and panic! Then from around the corner, the sound of someone VERY familiar approaching!
Appearing out in the open was the one and only Pac-Man! But this didn't look at all like the kid-friendly Pac-Man. His skin was a sickly pale yellow, his eyes were just hollow sockets, and his bloody teeth were all crooked and jagged despite his extra-large mouth constantly opening and closing like the eating machine he is! No doubt this big yellow terror was ready to take on the buffet that Penny and Tommy was giving to him.
Taking off into the closest opening, Penny and Tommy was hoping to soon hear the sound of the four ghost being devoured by Pac-Man, but instead they had to start running again as now they had both the ghosts AND Pac-Man chasing after them (once the ghosts spawned back in with their proper colors)!
Hack Rat's voice once again boomed as the two ran for their lives:
"NOw dO yOO sEE, O'Mallix? Now dO yOO sEE, Penny? Tihs Is whAt It's lEIk tO hAvE pEOplE whO yOO tOUhght wErE frIEnds, nOw tEhy All tUrn AGAINST YOO! BETRAY YOU!! EnjOy yEr GAME OVER, jErks!"
“(pant, pant) Dammit, Meek!” panted Tommy. “You've taken this WAY TOO FAR!”
“No kidding! (pant, pant)” huffed Penny. “It's like he's never had a good co-op experience in YEARS!”
Finding themselves about to run into a corner of the maze with the whole cast of Pac-Man coming after them, it all looked completely doomed for Penny and Tommy when the big mouse girl saw what was awaiting them at the very end: a power Pellet!
Penny was just about to pick it up when Tommy stopped her and said, "No, wait! If you touch it with your hands it might disappear, like the orb did before."
"But I must grab it so we can defend ourselves somehow! Unless..." Penny said when she seemed to have an idea on what to do.
Tommy was just about to ask what her idea was when he suddenly saw Penny diving forth with her mouth wide open, and in a blink of an eye she had swallowed up the whole Power Pellet!
Looking down Penny could see that she had now a big round glow from her belly and it began to rumble and shake! A dumbfounded Tommy was just about to ask "WHAT IN THE HECK DID YOU JUST DO?!" when suddenly a big explosion of light engulfed it all!
When Tommy could open his eyes again, he couldn't believe them as he saw what Penny had transformed into, as she was now an even bigger and rounder version of herself!
Imagine Mrs. Pac-Man, but instead of a yellow ball with a bow and lipstick she was all grey with freckles, wearing glasses and sporting a headband that said “Paccin' Like a Mother!”
Tommy was completely speechless now, and while Hack Rat had his mic turned on again to say something he just managed to let out a bunch of unrecognisable noise over what had just happened!
“WHOZZAWAHT?! Deh-hurrrr?! Penny... YOO HACKERRRR!!”
(Ironic for a hacker to accuse another, isn't it?)
Looking over at the pack of enemies chasing them, Pac-Penny saw how all of them now upon seeing her in this shape was fleeing, also turning blue with scared faces on them. Knowing this game like the back of her hand she knew what she needed to do to win it.
Taking off at a great speed the sound, Penny's big mouth chomped and chomped as she sped closer to the ghosts and Pac-Man with each passing second!
They flew as fast as they could, but didn't stand a chance as Penny bit into each of the ghosts one at the time, and as they dissolved into her big mouth a big 200, then 400, 800, and 1600-point marks popped up as she continued on. (Indicating the amount of points each one of the ghosts was worth.)
Finally all that was left was the deranged version of Pac-Man himself! The demented creep seemed even more scared about having his life cut off by this invading creature, but eventually even he wasn't able to escape his fate.
As Penny completely engulfed and swallowed up Pac-Man, the familiar game over squeal and blip from the main character could be heard as the scoreboard couldn't either comprehend something like this happening! It first showed a complete 9999999 in high score, but then the whole game just crashed!
As it did so, Penny got transformed back into her normal self (with a noticeably filled up and bloated stomach) before she and Tommy felt the ground underneath them breaking up, as they both ended up falling out of the game and falling through the Polybius graphic loading screen limbo once more!
Penny wanted to scream, but she held tight to her stomach over the pains of digesting all of those foes. “BUUU-URP! Uuugh, that'll spoil my dinner!” she mused despite the sudden changing of events. "Who thought that a bunch of data would be taking up so much space in my tummy?"
Soon enough, both Penny and Tommy started to see a light emerging, as they were soon to appear in another type of game!
Upon getting a clear view again, the first thing Penny could feel was yet another painful tightness around her belly, and upon looking down she saw that it wasn't that she had eaten more game characters, but that she had got her clothes changed. Instead of her usual shirt and shorts she was now sporting a long Pink dress, that was really wrapped tight around her wide, curvy frame. And she almost stumbled discovering her feet encased in tiny orange pumps.
“Eep!” Penny blushed, “Okay, like, this is WAY too girly for my taste! Tommy? Where are you?!”
When looking down she also saw that she was stuck on a platform at the very top of a high tower, consisting of many ladders and a bunch of barrels.
At the very bottom she saw Tommy as he was dressed as a certain Italian Plumber from the Video Game world, and that made it all to clear in just what game they were a part of now.
“Oh, I wanted to be dressed like that!” pouted Penny, being the real fan of the Mario Brothers more than Tommy.
“Heh. I guess beggars can't be choosers...?” replied Tommy, sheepishly.
“Oh, shut up!” snapped Penny. “What are we supposed to do now?”
Hack Rat's voice boomed once more, introducing the new scenario:
"Heh-hurr! HUrry! HUrry, O'Mallix! YOO bEhtEr sAve yOr 'damsel in distress' At tEh tOp frOm... dAt LEGENDARY BEAST OF BURDEN!!"
Penny was furious! "Ooooh! Listen, creep! I am NOT going to just stand here in a sexist choice of clothes and do nothing! I will get down there, meet up with Tommy, and call this game done!" when she suddenly felt a shadow overtaking her. Upon looking up, Penny saw that it was Donkey Kong!
This Donkey Kong was not the same iconic ape as he appears now. He was more like a photorealistic gorilla with scars and glowing yellow eyes glaring down at his prized damsel in distress! He was defiantly bigger looking up close as he towered more then four times as high then Penny herself did! (And that's including her already standing on a pretty high platform.)
Realising that escaping from the giant ape's clutches was not going to happen, it seemed that Tommy getting up to the top would be the only way to win this game, as Penny just sat down and groaned over how useless it made her feel now.
It was not much easier for Tommy as the now Mario-dressed cat still had the daunting task of seemingly endless climbing of steel beams and the constant threat of barrels rolling down upon him!
Donkey Kong wasn't holding anything back as he was sending endless volleys of barrels both across the platforms and falling down the ladders, as the ape only had his mind set to show no mercy and kill this tiny cat!
After having to run, jump, and climb his way all over Tommy finally saw something that could help make it all just a little bit easier for him: the Hammer!
As soon as he grabbed a hold of it, Tommy almost was being killed by an oncoming barrel, but he quickly swung that sucker around and made that barrel explode into nothing but a dust of pixels.
“Huh!” Tommy pondered, “How the heck does the physics of this game work?! I am holding a Hammer being about as large as me, that still weights next to nothing, and can send out slams about as powerful as a nuke?!"
Suddenly, Tommy had an idea of how to use this logic of weight to help him and Penny win the game much quicker!
"Hey, Penny! Catch!" Tommy shouted before he gave his all and sent his hammer flying high upwards and towards his trapped Penny, who managed to catch the hammer's handle perfectly in one hand!
Wielding the power of a Nordic God, Penny waited for Donkey Kong to turn around, and while carrying an extra large barrel over his head, and see how the "Damsel in Distress" now was holding the most powerful weapon of the whole game!
With no time to react Penny just said "GAMESET, jackass!" before swinging the hammer with full force into his head like a baseball, sending the giant ape flying way off into the distance before slamming into the background of the game!
The pure impact of this literally made the game crash as walls and scoreboards started to glitch out, and the entire stage itself started to collapse into the dark void of bellow!
“Oh, great!” pouted Penny. “What next?!”
“As far as I'm concerned...” Tommy replied, “I can take on any game at this point! Bring it on!”
Once again, Penny and Tommy felling into darkness, followed by the flashing Polybuis graphics again, and then finally both Penny and Tommy ending up inside some kind of game they were both familiar with, but didn't expect.
This time, Tommy found himself to be all alone and strapped inside of a small spaceship fighter that was constantly flying forward in outer space.
“Oh, man!” Tommy mused, “We're in a SHUMP game! Penny? You in here?” But Penny wasn't in the ship with him, nor was she anywhere in sight in the dark void of space. Soon enough, he found himself entering a large space station as big as the Death Star. It was dark and quiet, adding to Tommy's dread even further.
Tommy felt a bit scared over being all alone for once, as he didn't know if Penny was safe and if winning the game by himself. Would that mean that his dear mouse girl would be left behind inside this game forever, even if he kept moving forward? Pretty soon those thoughts was pretty much gone as Tommy found he had suddenly HUNDREDS of enemy ships flying toward him and attacking him with bright orange bullets!
Tommy fortunately had a partial affinity for shoot-em-ups in his younger years at the arcade, so he had to put all his focus on dodging and shooting back at every single mook and klingon! Thanks to random power-up drops, his semi-auto ship blaster soon became upgraded into a full-auto spray of plasma blasts (but that didn't make it all the easier to dodge the incoming enemy fire).
Feeling his stress levels getting up to max very quickly from this bullet hell, Tommy wasn't very sure that he could handle all the hordes of ships constantly bombarding him! He was almost about to be hit dead-on by a bright orange projectile when something gigantic suddenly came down to shake things up!
All of the sudden he saw how a big fleshy foot encased in a metallic, open-toed shoe come down and crush an entire squad in one big stomp, and upon looking up he saw how the one the foot belong to looked very familiar.
"Four big, plump toes, freckles on the fender... Penny?!" Tommy shouted out pleasantly surprised before he looked up speechless. The cat was stunned to see that his already big girl now stood as a 50 feet tall version of herself, dressed in giant robot armour over her chest and hips like a bikini and all lit up with flashing light bands across her arms, legs, and neck!
She looked like a real spectacle now, and upon looking down she too couldn't believe her change as Tommy now looked just like a little speck in his ship.
"Tommy? W-What is this? What happened to m... my voice?!" A very auto-tuned sounding Penny asked out as the cackling laughter of Hack Rat could be heard once more!
"My, my. lOOks lEIk tEh twO lOOvErs are nOw fOrcEd tO fIght EAch OOthEr! TEh Only wAy tO wIn Is EIthEr fOr thE brAve Tommy O'Mallix tOO dEfEAt hIs trUE lUrv nOw tUrnEd fInAl bOOss, Or lEht hEr tAke hIs One rEmAInIng KONAMI REST!”
“Meek, you bastard!” Tommy shouted. “We'll get you for this! I don't even know WHY Konami calls lives 'RESTS', man!”
"Tommy, I... I don't want to kill you!" Penny shouted down as she was almost starting to cry over the thought of having to take the life of the one she loves so much, and Tommy tried to comfort her saying that.
"I know you don't want to, Penny-baby.", said Tommy, undaunted. “You've always been my best couch co-op player and I won't give up on you, no matter what.”
“Aw, Tommy...” sniffed Penny. “I mean, how does even expect us to turn on each other?”
"LESS TALK! MOAR KILLING!!" yelled Hack Rat, interrupting as a new fleet of thousands of enemy ships came flying towards them!
Seeing a big V shaped swarm coming in from the left side of the corridor, Penny got into a fighting stance. “Stay close to me, Tommy!” she ordered. “We'll taken all out together!”
As she got into her stance, however, Tommy yelped as he had to steer clear of the giant Mecha-Penny's massive rear! “Hey! Watch it!”, he cried.
“Oh!” blushed Penny. “Heh, heh... sorry. Kinda forgot I had such a big-- bi..”
Penny's words were cut short as what sounded like typical electronic Japanese music started to play. Penny started to feel a bit of a rhythm, as she was having a bit of a dance across down the corridor battlefield and with each step she took the seemingly "endless" amount of enemy ships started to dwindle down a lot as they crashed into the bulk of her stomach, ass, and thighs or ended up stomped on by her large feet!
“Avast your Ass, by Kitsune-Squared?” shouted Tommy, bewildered at the choice of music. “What a weird track to dance to. Then again, Penny sure looks good dancing to-- WHOA!!”
While it seemed that Penny did all the work in taking out the enemy ships, Tommy had to be careful not to crash into Penny or get stomped on! He bobbed and weaved back and forth, u-turned, and yes, DID A BARREL ROLL to avoid losing his one “rest”. It didn't matter that he was missing out on Penny's spectacular sexy dancing. He was just trying to stay alive!
After having hold off against the hoard of enemies, the music stopped and Mecha-Penny came to her senses (or in this case her own default programming).
“Whoa...” Penny asked, bewildered. “Was I.. dancing?”
“Yeah, you almost killed me along with the other bad guys, too!” replied Tommy.
Before Penny could apologize, they both seemed to be coming towards what looked like a dead end, as they were being greeted by two large metallic doors.
This is where having the screen constantly scrolling to the right now was a bit of a problem, as if they didn't do something they would soon end up getting crushed when they reach the far left side!
That's when Penny decided to pull off a “Metroid Hatchling Savior” and she walked over towards the big doors, took a grip of the crack with both hands and she pulled against them with all her might!
Despite having seen just how big and powerful she is in this game Tommy still got really amazed when he saw how Penny managed to break the big doors and force them apart enough so that Tommy could enter into what seemed to be the "Unreachable Area" of the game.
"Go in there Tommy! Win this thing for us!" Penny said as Tommy flew in to face off against whatever could be waiting! The doors slammed then slammed shut, sealing Tommy inside to face the biggest challenge to come.
Entering the new area, Tommy noticed how he was just left alone inside of a seemingly big empty space. "Hello? Anyone there?" Tommy asked out as a big loud "SIGH" could be heard in response.
"SOOooo... O'Mallix. We meet... again!" Hack Rat's voice now reverting to a more comprehensive dialect as he continued to announce to him with his disembodied voice. “Now that your oversized girlfriend is sealed out there, I shall see to it that this final boss battle be your ultimate end!”
Eventually, something big emerged from the shadows! As it entered into his view Tommy got a little scared as he saw that it seemed to be a Battleship looking thing about 100 times larger then his own ship, and to be even more horrific to look at it had Hack Rat's big ugly mug embossed at the bow of it!
"Prepare to become SPACE DUST!" the robotic Hack Rat battleship announced! He/it then began to use all of it's big turrets to send great amounts of laser blasts to attack him!
Tommy knew he would have to rely solely on his own mad skills of old arcade shooters, as all he could do was to play the game by dodging the enemy blasts and shoot back against the turrets.
It looked like a completely impossible thing to fight against, but that was also the whole point of an actual boss battle. (To make the player feel like this giant thing might be to much for it to win over.) For Tommy it was mostly a long process of patience of knowing the rhythm of the blasts, and shooting back as soon as he was given a clear view of his targets.
Hack Rat had first thought that he had been having this in the bag, but very soon he came to find the harsh reality that all of his turrets had been taking to much damage, and was now all destroyed!
It looked now like HE was the one being unable to defend himself against tiny Tommy and his blasts, but being the dirty cheater that he was, the smelly rat just pressed a button back in reality on his control-panel. Tommy watched in shock as it was all suddenly changing like a Transformer!
Taking on a different shape, the once half broken battleship did now instead resemble a giant robotic replica of Hack Rat himself! He stared at Tommy with large glowing yellow eyes and then he swung each arm to swat on him like a fly, launched a volley of homing missiles, and “Shooped the Woop” a huge laser from his... belly button?
“Oh, I got a million other attacks for you, O'Mallix!”, bragged the robotic Hack Rat. “Including glitched ones you can't possibly avoid!”
"Oh, no you don't!" the robotic voice of Penny cried out! She forced the giant doors open wide enough to squeeze her fat body through, before then charging in and getting the Hack Rat robot into a locked grip by the hands!
Final Round, FIGHT!
Watching on how these two mechanical giants were duking it out, Tommy's eyes managed to notice something. The blast from Hack Rat's belly button had a long delay before discharging. Tommy couldn't tell before because if the homing missiles that kept him busy and had to shoot at them to keep them from destroying his ship. But now that same belly button blast was warming up as Penny and Hack Rat locked hands and was about to go off and penetrate Penny for good! (In a practical sense, of course. Not the explicit way.)
Recalling his Star Wars lore, Tommy knew just what to do to take care of this serious threat towards his girlfriend. He quickly flew up and charged his own blasters up to maximum force as he came to face directly into the belly button shaft where the blast was about go off! He blasted at the navel and then boosted off as fast as he could, as the Hack Rat robot suddenly felt having a big explosion taking place right inside it's abdomin!
Penny could also see that something wasn't right with Hack Rat and when seeing his whole robotic body starting to inflate out from all the pressure building up she too figured it was best to escape the room!
Being unable to do anything to prevent what was happening to his character Hack Rat could only watch on as his robotic game avatar blew up and caused even this game to completely crash down!
This was now the third game that those two had managed to ruin for him, and as the real Hack Rat was sitting by his controls and screens it was really starting to annoy him for real now.
"RRRRGH?! WHYYYEEE?!” Hack Rat shouted in anger! “All I wAntEd wAs tO hAvE PEnny fOr mysElf, And thAt TOmmy wOuld bE gOne OncE And fEr All!!!" Hack Rat then took a big sip from his extra large, super-sweet game fuel soda to try and calm himself down. "NEvEr mInd...I'vE gOt hOOndrEd's mOre gAAms I cAn pUt tEhm in! And If tEhy EIthEr End wIth PEnny All tO mysElf, or hEr And hIm both dying...I wOnt kErr! All tAht mEttErs Is thAt... I WIN!" He let out a hushed, perverted, sinister villain laugh to himself, as it made him confident as ever to feel that he was in control over the lives of his captors.
