The assignment, as stated in the link, is to pick three objects and decompose them into its most basic geometric shapes. I picked a clip lamp, a desk chair, and my waving-paw cat :D

Sometimes I had difficulties trying to break down the model into geometric shapes, and I had to fight the impulse of drawing the actual thing. Specially the cat, it's like one whole blobby mass.

You should take a look at  scarartguild if you are willing to improve your artistic powers. I'm hoping to do so through the regular assignments, and maybe recap some of these concepts long forgotten :3
