Yes, that is my car...Yes, I came up with a transformer character based on it...I'm going to eventually draw it...either old-school or movie style...
What you can't see: the whole bumper/headlight section is actually tilted down because it was replaced...the right fender has an interesting bend to it...And the antenna is bent with a smiley face on the top...Also: Green power ranger figure hanging from the rearview, Fox plush in the back named Carfox, and the 'I'm special' My little pony sticker on the dash....XD

I wish I could convert this thing into a SHO...But that would involve completely gutting the engine compartment and moving everything around...and even then, the engine probably wouldn't fit right without modifying and fabricating engine mounts...I don't have the time/space/money for that kind of project...*sigh*
I did find a Yamaha SHO engine on craigslist....XD
If I had the time/space/money, I would completely strip this thing down...Replace the suspension(which is shot), power steering(which is also on its last legs), wheels, AC(which I could have fixed, but an accident ruined part of it...)
Swap the engine/trans for the SHO, get a nice exhaust system, and strengthen the frame where needed.
But I wouldn't do anything to the interior or the exterior...Leave the saggy headlights/bumper, plastic rear bumper, dented right fender. Nothing on the outside to give away that it is a SHO...All people would see in the parking lot is a piece of junk Taurus GL...Just like Bumblebee. He was a crappy looking Camaro on the outside with a kick-ass engine under the hood.
